Terms and Conditions

The Genting Sustainbiz 2025 ("Event") is organized by Resorts World Genting and Anderes Fourdy Events Sdn Bhd. The terms "Organizer" and "Organizers" refer to Resorts World Genting, Anderes Fourdy Events Sdn Bhd and encompass any contractors or subcontractors engaged in the organization and management of the Event. The Event is scheduled to take place from 9 - 10 September 2025. These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all attendees, including participants, speakers, panelists, accompanying persons, and media representatives (collectively, "Attendees").

Confirmation and Payment

  • Confirmation of Conference Pass is subject to seat availability.
  • Please note that the information provided on pricing and other information published are correct at the time of publication.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address upon successful purchase.
  • Attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) and a form of identification at the event registration counter.
  • Please email [email protected] immediately if you do not receive a response from us after 24 hours.
  • Payment is required at the time of registration. All payments should be made in the local Malaysian currency. Please note that the payer must bear all transfer costs. Checks are not accepted. Provided payment methods are via credit card, debit card or via HRDF (Malaysian Human Resource Development Fund) claims.
  • The payment process is managed by Anderes Fourdy Events Sdn Bhd and HRDF process is vide Simplified Management Consultancy Sdn Bhd.
  • In the event of doable or overpayment, an administrative fee will apply to the refund process.

Transferability, Modification, Cancellation, Refund and No-Show

  • Passes are transferable to another individual with prior written notice to the organizer via [email protected] at least 7 days before the event date.
  • All transfer requests must include full details of the new attendee (name, email, contact number) with an official letter of authorization. Each pass may only be transferred once.
  • Cancellations will result in forfeiture of the entire payment made.
  • No refunds will be issued if the conference pass is unutilized.
  • Misuse, reselling of rooms, or violation of terms may result in the pass and/or package being revoked without refund.

Sustainability Tax and Tourism Tax

  • *Effective 01st March 2022, a Sustainability Fee of RM3/ 3GP per room/ day will be imposed in accordance with the Hotel (Pahang) Regulation 2021.  This charge will be collected from guest directly upon check-in and/or keycard collection.
  • *Effective 01st September 2017, all international tourists (non-Malaysians) will be charged a Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night in accordance with the Tourism Tax Act 2017. This tax will be collected from guest directly upon check-in and/or keycard collection.

Transferability, Modification, Cancellation, Refund and No-Show

  • A room reservation that has been confirmed is non-transferable. Guest are not allowed to check-in on behalf of another person.
  • Modifications to bookings such as change of dates, room type, and others are not permitted. Cancellations will result in forfeiture of the entire payment made.
  • No refunds will be issued if the package is cancelled or unutilized.
  • Failure to check-in will be considered as a no-show.
  • Misuse, reselling of rooms, or violation of terms may result in the pass and/or package being revoked without refund.

Liabilities and Helpline

  • The Management reserves the right to alter, amend, delete or add to the stated terms and conditions or withdraw any package at any time without prior notice.
  • By confirming a room reservation, you are deemed to have agreed to the stipulated terms and conditions. Disputes will not be entertained.
  • Our liabilities in respect of any loss or damage to the items belonging to a hotel guest are governed by the Innkeepers Act 1952.
  • We will continue to fully adhere to the government SOPs throughout the resort and we seek our guests’ kind cooperation to do the same.

  • A registration confirmation/invoice will be sent by email once the registration department has received the fully completed registration form (including proof if necessary) and the related payment. Attendees must present the given QR Code at the registration counter to collect their name badge and participant materials.
  • Each QR code can only be registered once.
  • Only original and valid name badge issued by the Organizer or the Event (the “Organizer”) are admissible to the Event Venue. Name badge with any alteration and/or mutilation shall be null and void and may not be used for admission to the Event Venue.
  • Attendees must retain their name badge at all times for inspection purposes at the Event venue. Any Attendee who fails to produce their name badge may be denied entry or expelled.
  • Should there be a dispute, our staff will contact the original pass purchaser and verify the purchaser’s identity through Name/Contact Number/Email collected during the purchase process.
  • Third parties are not allowed to collect the pass on behalf of the Purchaser without a letter of authorization signed by the Purchaser and presented to Organisers upon pass collection.

  • The Organizer reserves the absolute right to cancel, to change the date, time or location of the Event without prior notice or giving any reasons whatsoever. The Organizer also reserves the absolute right to cancel, interrupt or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or for any other causes beyond its reasonable control.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to relocate sessions or activities to nearby venues at any time without prior notice. Attendees will be informed of any such changes as soon as practicable.
  • In the event that the Event cannot be held as an on-site event, is changed to a purely digital format, or is postponed due to force majeure or events not attributable to wrongful intent on the part of the Organizer, the Organizer shall not be liable for any damages, costs, or losses incurred by Attendees. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer.
  • In the event of cancellation or postponement of the Event due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right to either retain the entire registration fee and use it for a future Event or to reimburse the Attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the Event that could not be recovered from third parties. Attendees acknowledge and agree that no additional compensation will be provided for any other damages, costs, or losses incurred.

  • The Organizer shall not be liable for any damages, costs, or losses incurred by Attendees in connection with Genting Sustainbiz 2025 (“Event”), including but not limited to transportation or accommodation expenses, financial losses, or any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
  • Attendees expressly waive any and all claims against the Organizer arising from participation in the Event or from the Organizer exercising any of its rights under these Terms and Conditions, including actions such as denying admission, removing individuals from the venue, or adjusting the programme, except where such actions are due to the Organizer’s intent or gross negligence.

  • For security reasons, and in order to ensure the orderly and smooth running of the Event, Attendees shall always observe the rules and regulations of the Event venue and follow the directions of the Organizer and/or its personnel (including without limitation the security staff).
  • The Organizer’s personnel is entitled to, without refund or compensation, deny admission or to expel any pass holders who, in the sole opinion of the Organizer, is disruptive, behaving or appears likely to behave violently or contrary to public order, appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming or who may impair the enjoyment, comfort, privacy, security and/or safety of other patrons, the artistes or the Organizer’s personnel.

  • Promotional Materials: To create and distribute promotional content for the Event and future events.
  • Media Distribution: To share with media partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Archival Purposes: To maintain records of the Event for historical and reference purposes. The Organizer reserves the right to use these recordings without any compensation to Attendees. Attendees acknowledge and agree that they have no ownership rights or claims over these recordings.

  • Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety throughout. The Organizer advises all Attendees to take reasonable precautions and follow all safety instructions and health guidelines provided. If you have any health concerns, you are encouraged to consult a healthcare professional before attending.
  • Each Attendee shall indemnify and keep the Organizer and the Venue Owner harmless against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, expenses, damages or losses (including without limitation to the facilities or equipment at the Event Venue, consequential losses, loss of profit and loss of reputation, penalties and legal costs on a solicitor and client basis and other professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by or taken against or made on the Organizer and/or the Venue Owner (by way of criminal or civil proceedings or otherwise) by any person in respect of injury, death, damage to property or otherwise caused by, arising out of or in connection with his/her actions or omissions.
  • In the event of a medical emergency, Attendees should seek immediate medical attention. The Organizer will provide reasonable assistance in such cases, but Attendees acknowledge that the Organizer is not responsible for any medical treatment or expenses incurred.
  • Attendees are advised to obtain appropriate travel, health, and other relevant insurance to cover any potential damages, costs, or losses that may arise from their participation in the Event.

By signing up as an Attendee of the Event, the Attendee expressly declare that he/she has read, understood, voluntarily and unconditionally consented to the collection, usage, processing and storage of his/her personal data in the manner and for the purposes described in Private Policy and Disclaimer
